Traditional Icelandic Cusine by Pot and Pan Restaurant (since 1982). We want to offer our guests a more distinctly Icelandic food profile, based on our Icelandic cultural heritage and local culinary traditions. We have therefore, in joint effort with our suppliers, set up a project for presenting in our restaurants specially adapted traditional Icelandic menu.

Potturinn og pannan (The Pot & pan, since 1982) is a family friendly restaurant, popular for it's relaxed atmosphere and delicious cooking, offered at reasonable prices.  We offer traditional Icelandic Cusine by Pot and pan in Reykjavik and in Blönduós by the ring road.

Our menus

We offer a variety of group menus to suit a wide range of tastes & budgets. If there is something that you don't see on the menus, please let us know as our management team would be happy to speak with you about customizing your menu to suit your occasion.

About Blönduós

Blönduós is a small seaside town in the northwestern part of Iceland. Approximately 1000 people live in the town.

The distance from Reykjavik is about 245 kilometers by the Whale Bay tunnel. The distance from Akureyri is about 145 kilometers.

The Blönduós region is known for its textile museum, a Romanesque stone church at Thingeyrar, and for excellent fishing spots.
